I am trying to convert my home into an eco friendly place and these 2 items would help my continued efforts. I have tried other so called eco bulbs only to watch them die in a couple of weeks. You make these sound like they are the ones I should try.
I am going Greed as much as a possibly can. It takes time and money to do it..and this is a step in the right direction.
I’d love to win this. Could definitely use it.
I am trying to make my house greener.
It ain’t easy being green – but this will help!
Just moved into a new place, and am replacing all the light bulbs with energy-saving alternatives. I could really use this product right now!
I’ve heard such good things about the LED light bulbs and this would be a wonderful chance to have one as well as the smart strip energy strip which would be an upgrade for me to a more effecitent eco energy effecient power strip!
After watching Living with Ed, on Planet Green channel, my boyfriend and I have gone nuts with being as Eco-friendly as we can. Ed showed off the led light bulb in an episode we wanted to try it out, this would be the perfect opportunity to do so!
I am seeking to become a minimalist when it comes to energy consumption. I am trying to reduce my carbon footprint each day.
I’ve heard about LED bulbs and would love a chance to try them. I use CFLs currently.
We have changed out all of our light bulbs to energy saving bulbs. We do not use an air conditioner…I have a system of opening and closing certain windows and curtains during the day and it keeps the house very cool. I would love to try these LED bulbs.
we should do all we can to be greener and to save money to boot how can you beat it.

We are going green as much as possible. Every little bit helps.
Not only do I do everything possible in the rental unit that I currently occupy, I am as engaged as possible in the communities that I am a resident of. I am currently doing an unpaid internship for a school district and helping the Resource Conservation Manager with her work to save the school district hundreds of thousands of dollars in utility bills through water and energy conservation measures as well as participating in a lighting audit of all of the school district’s buildings. In addition, I put in a great deal of time volunteering for the Shoreline Solar Project’s upcoming SolarFest next weekend in Shoreline, WA at the community college. Yesterday, I volunteered all day at the local garden tour where I was stationed at the home with the extensive use of low impact development techniques including a graywater system as well as a rain harvesting collection system with a cistern. I have also had a little parttime job at the local high school and I have been encouraging the establishment of a green team and now all the 9th graders do a renewable / non-renewable energy project.
In addition to all of this, I heard about a new community energy project request from the local electric utility and I contacted a local congregation and now I am the volunteer project manager for the congregation’s community energy project.
In conclusion, I believe that I am making a big impact and difference in the region that I live in.

I should win because we really try to be eco-friendly. We have energy star appliances, we recycle, shop with cloth bags, use those coiled up light bulbs (LOL) and we compost everything!
i already have one bulb for one of the bedside tables, I need to now do the other one.
We do as much as we can to live ‘green’. We recycle all our bottles and cans. We turn off the lights when we aren’t using them. Most of all, we do all this with our kids, who are an active part of us being ‘green’. My husband and I role model this so that they will grow up and it will be natural to them to live this way.
I’d like to win this giveaway so that we can even do more to go green.
I AM TRYING TO GO GREEN….BUT HAVE TO DO IT SLOWLY…BUYING BULBS WHEN THEY ARE ON SALE REALLY HELPS…THEY ARE NOT CHEAP
I’ve been reading about the problems with CFLs, so it’s the bulb that particularly interests me.
I am a CPA and I have worked very hard to become a paperless office. Now it is time to concentrate on other means of being greener – like turning off all the equipment every night.
This would really help, as I am working to make my house a bit greener since I bought it.
we are trying to make major changes in our lives regarding going greener. This would be another step reaching our goal
This would be a nice start for my grandparents who I’m trying to make more green.
I would love to win this giveaway because it is important to me to become as green as I can and to raise my daughter with the same views
My husband and I currently use CFLs for all of our lights, but are looking into switching to LEDs as, to my knowledge, they don’t contain mercury and are more energy efficient!
We recycle and bicycle almost everywhere; now, this would help in reducing our electricity consumption!
I switched out all of the lightbulbs in and outside our home to energy efficient ones – all 62 of them!
I want to win this giveaway so I can prove to doubting hubby that energy vampires do exist and that he’ll save a nice amount of money by unplugging things, not just turning them off.
I would love to win his DYP green giveaway because I’ve been working on “greening” my entire home by changing out the blubs, using Energy Star appliances and more. So this would really help me. Thank you so much for the wonderful giveaway.
We just recently realized how much mercury is all around us in the products we use so we would love to have this strip that doesn’t have mercury for once!
We are doing a kitchen remodel and addition, and I am trying my best to go green with everything I possibly can. We live in a 100-year old house, and we would like to do everything possible to reduce energy use/waste and be as energy efficient as possible!
I live in a green community and work on doing everything I can to continue.
We use a number of CFL bulbs, and we’ve been wanting to try the LED bulbs but they’re very expensive to start with, even if they are cheap to run. We are trying to be responsible about energy use and recycling.
I try very hard to reduce consumption of all things, especially energy. This looks like a very good idea.
I’d love to win because my significant other has been really trying to get me to go green in every aspect of my life, and since we’re taking the plunge to move in together in a month, bringing these two items with me would be a terrific gesture to show that I’m moving in the right direction — thanks!
I deserve this because I work really hard at being green. In fact, when my husband isn’t home, I’ve gotten our electricity usage cut down by a half!
I’d love to win so that my computer and home phone can be more green
I have been switching to greener products and this would make a good addition. I think that energy conservation is one of the simplest ways that we can make a difference.
I should win this because I really need this! I have power strips all over my house but they are all regular and the vampire energy stealing kind. I have been wanting one of these for a very long time but have not had the money to get one!
I would love to win this because I do everything I can already to be green and having these would just enable that habit all the more!
We’ve been using CFLs in our fixtures and I would love to see how the LED bulb compares.
Most of our appliances and all of the electronics are plugged into surge protecting power strips and we already turn the strip off on some. I could always use another power strip
I should win this green giveaway because I am changing my house to a green house. garrettsambo@aol.com
I should win this because I am environmentally conscious and doing all I can to save energy
