I have changed my oil/filter for many, many years. I enjoy the process and take satisfaction out of knowing how it was done and then recycling the used products. It is much easier these days to find recycling options – much more so than back in the 70s!

I walk more. I bought a shopping cart to use instead of driving to the grocery store. I get exercise and drive less.
Love the shopping cart idea! I put up a clothes line so I don’t have to run the dryer on sunny days. I can even use it in the winter as long as the temp is above freezing. It saves me money, wear and tear on my clothes, and NOTHING smells better than sun-dried cotton. =)
