I sometimes use newspaper comics to wrap children’s gifts in, they love it and I’m reusing materials instead of purchasing wrapping paper. I save money while being “green.”
what a great idea
I think this is a neat idea and I always try and re-use bows and other decorations when I get a wrapped package.
OOH! Fantastic giveaway! I reuse gift boxes, bows and paper all the time. Hope to win. Thank you!
One of my green tips is to save old clothes & towels, etc. and give up paper towels.
I reuse boxes and gift bags rather than waste wrapping paper.
Everyone already knows I’m crazy (as in eco crazy). I use draw string cloth gift bags for the kids and then I make them give me the bags back so I can use the bags again. We’ll travel from Kentucky to Florida and I’ll repurpose the whole set up. And I’ll have the drawstring gift bags for next year.

I saved all the bows, boxes and gift bags from Christmas and will reuse them next year. I also made my own tags instead of buying them.
i use microfiber cloths instead of paper towels for wiping and cleaning. Saves a lot of paper waste.
i use eco friendly cups for my family. also use a shopping bag at the store, goodbye plastic!
I don’t use (or own) a clothes dryer. Wet laundry gets hung outside, for the sun and wind to dry.
I crochet gift bags and/or market bags for gift wrap that is eco friendly and can also be used during the year depending on the design for marketing.
I recycle and reuse containers for freezing and crafts. We use reusable shopping bags and have only CFL bulbs.
I use reusable shopping bags, containers, and CFL light bulbs.
We walk to our destinations instead of taking the car.
Saving all of my errands around town to just one day to conserve gas and lower pollution.

Reuse store paper shopping bags for gifts-decorate them
I use recycled bags and I recycle all of my old electronics. When I get boxes instead of throwing them away I put contact paper on them and make them into toy boxes.
Recycle, I’m known as the butter, cottage chesse container granny whenever the kids/grandkids need any, I’ve always got a supply. Also used the containers to start garden/flowers for season. Still trying to get used to new lightbulbs. Thanks Hope this is the right place for my comment. Blessings
I recycle everything I can, I have a great compost bin, I dry clothes outside, I collect rainwater for watering plants, do not use plastic containers [use glass], use cloth totes for shopping purchases, am replacing light bulbs with LED as soon as needed, use a push mower for lawn instead of gas-powered one, use attic fan in the summer instead of air conditioner….. and many other ways
i recycle, reuse, and repurpose everything i can and i just also got done replacing all my bulbs
We moved from a small town to a larger town (small city) last year and now we save newspapers and cardboard to take to the recycling bins.
I love that repurposing is now cool! I try to reuse & repurpose as much as I can! TP rolls & egg cartons for seedlings and kids crafts is just the beginning of my list….
